It was a very cold day at Cranmore today. Temperatures stayed in the single digits and teens most of the day and the wind picked up a little in the afternoon, but the skies were mostly clear. About 70% of the mountain was open and snowmaking was ongoing on most of the closed terrain as well as some of the terrain that was open. All of the lifts were open except for the Lookout Triple, which was not needed because crowds were minimal and there were rarely lift lines. Groomed terrain was good in the morning, but became somewhat icy later in the day. Ungroomed terrain was solid and not very fun to ski, but there were three glades open. The views were outstanding and Cranmore was a good place to go on such an icy day.
