That looks like the return summit bullwheel of a Heron t-bar.

I'm pretty sure that it's Doppelmayr

Not Big A; May Mt seems to fit the bill, though, based on the lakes in distance

Nothing appears on the skilifts.org lift survey from 1963-1970. NELSAP states it opened "late '60s" with the T-Bar there for opening year.

Surprisingly very little about this considering it was open until the mid '90s.  Where were the rope tows relative to the T-Bar?

It's definitely Doppelmayr. Compare it to these photos from the t-bar at Otis Ridge: http://newenglandskihistory.com/lifts/viewlift.php?id=146

I'm not sure if it had any ropes. I found something at the summit which looked like part of a rope tow, but it was never listed as having one and I didn't see any tow towers. See my diagram on the trip report for an overview of the area.

After my earlier WAG I checked the pics again and the pics looked awfully familiar to me and I somehow recalled that the pics were from a ME lost ski area so I went through the lost ski areas on NELSAP until I could match up the pics.
