It appears from the Eustis Facebook page & website that they have been open this season at least 3-4 times and may be open this weekend Feb. 3rd-5th 2017. www.facebook.com/MtEustisSkiClub/

MrMagic's post on Prospect led me to this. I hadn't see this before. So after my 2011 trip to Lisbon it looked like Lisbon could open but Mr. NELSAP assured me it was indeed NELSAP. This clinches it. Don't watch this if you don't like destruction.

But it looks like they didn't use the motor.

The group at first received a donated motor from Lisbon to operate the tow "but it wasn't strong enough so we bought a big Cummings diesel but we did use many of the sheave parts and the original pulleys from Eustis." http://www.wmur.com/article/littleton-completes-effort-to-resurrect-mount-eustis-ski-area-today/8538666

Terrible video why I'm glad the equipment went to an area it was also sad to see how quickly they dismantled the ski area. Good research by the way Ski_it

But I couldn't find out what their exact reason for wanting it taken down completely or who owns that land. Most likely a safety issue for the town? It sounds like Eustis attempted to use some of it, but how much got recycled into their lift is unclear.
