Super Sunday Pico

Great conditions today, mountain emptied out about 1:00.  We hit the Outpost double at 10:00 when it opened, liftline was quite nice.  Things skied off quickly as there was a stampede of skiers and riders there within half an hour.  My son and I had a nice run on Sidewinder, it hadn't been mowed, also a lot of limbs down.  That was a surprise when coming around the corner to find one down right across your path.  Off the Summit,  Sunset Schuss was great, not many going down that one, other runs were skied off but the edges were okay.  Best run of the day was B Slope.  Little Pico closed once the racers were done, it reopened around 2:00 and no one was taking the lift.  The top of B Slope was perfect corduroy and steep, nice, zero gravity turns.  We had a better day than the Patriots!
