Day 2 of my northern Mi ski trip. The weather was sunny and blue skies and 55 degrees. I was hoping to meet fellow Snow Journalists Ciscokid there, but he was sick and unable to make it. I was really looking forward to perspective on the history of Caberfae Peaks. The only time we went in side was to use the bathroom, a friend of mine and his wife met us in Cadillac on Friday night and we actually started this trip by going going bowling Friday night at 11 and we were at the Peaks on Saturday by 9:30. They were very busy it looked like the parking lot was totally full. We skied on nice soft snow until around 1 then went went to my buddies pick up truck camper and tailgated for lunch. Skied a little more after much and by 4 my legs were done. Between Crystal on Friday and Caberfae on Saturday my trace snow app said I had skied around 30 miles. Great trip and great time with my daughter and friends. Hoping to meet Bob at their Spring Carnival

I try to make the best of what we have to ski on here. If you have the right company I think you can ski on a very small hill and still have fun.
