New Hermon or Hermon in Maine

    Yes, it's Hermon!

I stopped by the base area on my drive back from northern Maine. The parking lot was closed off and looked like it was being used as a staging area for road construction. It looks like a fun area to ski with both narrow and wide trails. Maybe I'll get up there this winter.

Those look like Roebling towers on the chairlift.

Wait: maybe that's actually a Städeli chair.

Yes, Stadeli chair. Can you spot the T-bar?

Kind of. There's a lift line to the chairs left and I faintly see what may be Hall t-bar towers. Am I right?

Just checked: it's a Poma/Heron t-bar with telescoping masts. The Städeli is a 1998 install.

Hermon operates two classic lifts, a 1966 Poma T-bar and a 1969 Stadeli, which was originally from Shawnee Peak.
