A full 2 month after Killington closed for the season Mammoth Mt. California is still holding it's own by staying open daily thru 8/6. Man do I want to be there.

Timberline in Oregon is likely not going to close at all this year.  In fact, they have a high-speed quad that only operates in the spring, summer and fall.

Timberline closes Palmer every year after Labor day for lift maintenance and usually reopens in late September. There's also an ongoing heatwave right now that may affect August skiing.

Ski Conditions Report: A detailed report describing the snow conditions on the mountain the day of your visit. Skiers should become familiar with the following snow surface descriptions: Ice: Packed Powder, Slush: Packed Powder, Frozen Granular: Packed Powder , Packed Powder - A thin covering of snow over bare earth.
