Wachusett Passholders Get Lift Ticket Deal at Stratton

SAM Magazine—Princeton, Mass., Aug. 16, 2017—Season pass partnerships between unaffiliated resorts continue to evolve in a variety of ways. One of the newest isstratton esize between Wachusett Mountain, Mass., and Stratton, Vt.

In this arrangement, Wachusett’s Bronze and UPass season passholders can purchase three, non-holiday Stratton lift tickets for $99. The offer is valid through Nov. 15, after which the price goes up to $129. The tickets are for any age, and are non-transferrable. Passholders can purchase the tickets online and pick them up at any Stratton ticket window by showing valid ID and a qualifying Wachusett season pass.

Stratton also participates in Wachusett’s Perks for Pass Holders program, providing lift ticket discounts of 50 percent midweek and 25 percent on weekends and holidays. Both resorts are also part of the M.A.X. Pass.

Are those total prices for 3 tickets or individual ticket prices?

The article is poorly worded. But if I recall I bought a Sunday ticket on Liftopia for under $80. So my guess is 3 tickets for a total of $99.

I believe Wachusett used to have a deal with Okemo. WAWA season passholders got discounts similar to those they're getting from  Stratton. I don't know whether they're still doing that.
I guess if you want to know the conditions at Stratton before you go, you can bring high-powered glasses to Wachusett and check out the Stratton Sunbowl, visible on a  clear day from the Wachusett summit. (Just kidding about the glasses, folks, though you can see Stratton Sunbowl plus Haystack and Mt. Snow, from the top of Wachusett. And then you can turn around and see Boston).
