Kelly Pawlak named new NSAA President

Kelly Pawlak, GM at Mount Snow, named NSAA President. I guess this was the runner up to Parker Riehle of Ski Vermont, after he declined the nomination. NSAA has its sight set on a Vermont rep.

  • Such as bittersweet thing for me!! #1 I feel very fortunate to be able to call Kelly a friend, and will miss the regular quick chats myself and my family would have with her in the liftlines, on the chairlifts, passing in the base lodge, at various charity events in the Mount Snow region throughout the year, etc. #2 having seen how Kelly runs and operation and manages many different people and personalities through empowering and entrusting her various managers, often with a style of "there is no job below me, and I will prove that by doing any job that needs to be done" will be a great asset for the guidance of our beloved sport in the years to come...
  • Kelly is out there talking to real people and even picking up trash around the main lodge.  IMO, that's some who cares!

  • Not too many people who would be more capable, that's for sure.

  • And Kelly's replacement has been named...

Same article including photo so we can recognize him (-:

Erik has been a roving region manager of the Northeast Resorts, seen at Crotched periodically. People respect him, should be able to fill Kelly's shoes and continue with the resorts master plan without missing a beat.
