Mountain Rider's Alliance: Community ski areas participate in joint marketing campaign

JUNE LAKE, CA – The Mountain Playground Group kicks off its third season with eleven community ski areas spread throughout the United States and British Columbia. Managed by Mountain Rider’s Alliance, the consortium of like-minded ski areas are participating in a joint marketing campaign designed to increase market awareness as well as offer exclusive discounts at each ski area.

“Anyone who lives close to and/or visits one of our member ski areas should seriously consider purchasing a card and receiving a year’s worth of great deals, as well as supporting community ski areas,” said Jamie Schectman, MRA CEO and Co-founder. “In addition to the 11 member ski areas, we have lined up over 25 exclusive benefits from some awesome brand partners.”

The Mountain Playground Cardholder costs just $39 and include a full year of benefits.

Participating ski areas include Arctic Valley, AK; Bald Mountain, ID; Beartooth Basin; MT; Buck Hill, MN; Diamond Peak, NV, Granite Gorge, NH, Hurricane Ridge, WA; Mt Abram, ME; Snow King Mountain, WY, Mt Timothy and Phoenix Mountain, British Columbia.

Visit www.mountainplaygroundgroup.ski to learn more about the member ski areas and to view the exclusive benefits.

OK If I read this right, you spend $39 and you ski Mt Abram at half price?   With a $59 weekend ticket it seems to me that this is a darn good deal
