About a foot here in Montpelier, but I just went outside and there's now a crust on it from the sprinkles and rising temps.

We got 6" yesterday. Then freezing rain this morning, real mess -now just drizzle. This was good base building snow, lots of moisture in it. It'll all be be buried in the 5-7" of new powder coming up for Christmas!

Erie, PA, got a real Christmas present, about five feet in two days (Christmas and the next day, according to news reports). I don't know much about that area. Are there any ski area close enough to Erie to benefit from that bonanza? X-C skiers should be set fo the winter there.

Little Mt. Pleasant of Edinboro, due south of Erie. Their website says only 6-18" base and zero new snow, only 2 trails open, but their webcam seems to belie that. Maybe nobody's been able to get there yet.
