Caberfae Peaks, Mi 3/25/18

This is more than likely my last day and trip report for the season. I know I have done quite a number of Caberfae reports, but it's where my season pass is and it is now my home hill. I picked up my daughter at 5;45 am so we could make the 3 hour and 20 min drive to Caberfae. When we arrived around 9:30 there a very small amount cars in the parking lot with temps in the low 20's and blue skies as far as the eye could see. The snow was hard packed but getting softer each run as the sun did it's magic.  imageimageimageimageimageimage
Around Noon we went in for lunch and the mandatory Bloody Mary from Arlo

After lunch the snow just got better with temps around 40 or just under and sunshine it was perfect spring skiing. It was a great way to end my season with my Kid.

What the pic doesn’t show is the rest of the trail. You go down another small hill back to the lift image

Great time with you and your daughter I am by buying the weekend pass there next year. Perfect blue sky pictures are fantastic. For some reason my pictures seem to come out blurry after I email them to myself and then post them.I don't know what the problem is but whatever.

For sure next year I'll be meeting you up there and looking forward to golf this summer and the trip to holiday Valley New York next winter with Ibrake4tbars

Ski_it, I'm having a hard time following your train of thought.

    You ain't the only one.
I guess you haven't been following the Hermitage thread.

Ok seriously, I love the job our midwest correspondents are doing this year. Keep the pics & reports coming.

  • I wasn’t understanding either. But now I understand. Having to live in the Mid-West I try to make the best of it and I am happy to post my trips
