  • Snow all day at Stowe tomorrow and going to be a sweet closing Powder day the following day. Mountain Forecast is calling for a little over a foot between tonight through tomorrow night on Mansfield.
  • Here's what Stowe's site said at 2:45:

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued by our excellent local forecasters at the National Weather Service for this upcoming storm system and we are expecting a cold front to move through early tomorrow morning after some overnight rain showers. That push of cold air will cause rain showers to change to a mix of freezing rain, sleet & snow by opening bell tomorrow. Tomorrow we expect light sleet or snow showers, becoming steadier later in the day, and we could see an inch or two of accumulation throughout the day. Additional accumulations of sleet or snow are likely Saturday night, so keep your fingers crossed for one more Mansfield surprise this season.

Make sure to dress for much colder temperatures tomorrow, as temperatures will be falling throughout the day. Afternoon readings are expected to range from the upper 20s at the base, to the lower 20s in the higher elevations. Summit level winds are forecast to be out of the north at 10-20mph.
