Mid Winter weekends and Holidays when the Ski School's Mountain Camp Alpine program is running - the groups line up along the rope tow and it runs throughout the day....

    Correct DonC.
I saw the rope running this year and I rode it IIRC 2 years ago.
Rode the lift with Joshua’s ski buddy but neglected to trade names

I wonder how many places have a rope tow next to an HSQ... a mixture of eras. My guess is plenty in the midwest.

Was his name Joe? Green helmet?

No helmet that I saw. Tall with short grey hair

60 out of 86 trails, 4 lifts, 4" in last 7 days, machined groomed and spring conditions, sunny 28-47F. Only the Sunbrook pod was closed. The groomed runs were fine first thing. The rest: soften up on the main face around 10 and a little later on North Face. Wall to wall coverage almost everywhere with few bare spots. Plenty of features still open on C. PDF, Plummet, Ledge, Yardsale and others had big soft bumps by 11am. The woods all had great coverage too. It was crowded at first but by noon it was pretty empty. Sad to see this was the last day with so much snow depth and coverage left.

Ah.  That's Matt.  If you check the photo next to the CM trail map at CM's summit, that's him!

  • Great photos, probably on the better closing days in my memory.
