Sunday River 11/10/2019

Saturday was a very busy opening day at Sunday River. I arrived at 6:40, and was within the first 10 chairs to be loaded, but by the time the Locke Triple opened at 8:00 the line stretched across the entire base area and had begun to loop back. Above the mid-station, Upper Sunday Punch and T2 were open. Below the mid-station, only Lower Sunday Punch was open. They were making snow right up until the lift opened, and they slowly shut down the guns throughout the first hour of operation. They were alternating chairs and offered loading at the mid-station. The base area line was up to an hour long, while the mid-station line was up to a half hour long. The lines did die out later in the day, and it was great to be back out on the snow.
