NewEnglandSkier13 King Pine continues to deliver a quality skiing experience at a great price. It is one of the few ski areas that I know of which operates all lifts, lodges, and trails midweek. The ski area was 100% open and all trails were groomed with about 2 inches of powder that fell after they groomed, which made for excellent conditions. Crowds were light until school programs began to arrive in the afternoon, but none of the lifts ever had much of a line. It was great to return to the area where I learned to ski.
conrad Nice pictures and summary. Looks like they've done pretty well with the snow-making. Will have to visit there sometime.
TomWhite I chose KP for my first day of skiing after knee surgery two years ago. It is a fun, well run, little area. They even let moguls develop on part of 2 of 3 steep trails.
NELSAP They even have some nice narrow blues too. It's one of those mountains where you wish it had another 100-200' of vertical. The trails are a lot of fun, but they come to an end faster than you want. Great vibe there too.
