Another Heron?

Does anyone know of any other Heron brand surface lifts other than the T-Bar at Veterans Memorial? It's a unique lift and I've never seen another one like it!image

I think one still stands, like this, at Intermont Ski area in Solon, NY, south of Syracuse. This area's been lost for about 40 years and the old lifts were never removed. An old Staedeli center pole double with the lattice towers is there.

The Intermont t-bar pics below are from Ski Kaballah, which documents several lost NYS ski areas.

It's sad to see such a great lift just sitting there rusting away. Let's hope Veterans can keep their's in service for a while longer!

I agree. I'll travel there from Ohio just to ride that rare a t-bar.

It's much more fun and has a lot more challenge than one would expect from 230 vertical feet, 2 lifts, and tickets under $20! It has everything from wide slopes, to narrow chutes, to big cliff drops in the woods! I highly recommend it and it's one of my top favorite ski areas!image

Sorry, I didn't get any pictures of the cliff drops!
