Titcomb Mountain 2021-2022

January 7

First day for me at Titcomb this season. There was about 3 inches of light new snow on top of the groomed snow beneath. Both T-bars were running with Otter Slide, The Main, Bunny, & Beagle open. Beagle was open with natural snow. It was great snow and good fun for a few hours of skiing!

Because we only do lessons on weekends at BMOM, I usually have a few chances to ski midweek.

January 21

There was a big high school race tonight, so the base area was busy, but the trails and lifts usually weren't. It was quite cold, but the snow was excellent packed powder with no icy spots. All lit trails were open except Beagle and Young's Way.

Great conditions tonight with all of the night skiing trails open! They have Beagle open with a full park setup, and coverage is great on all trails.

There were only groomed trails open and Lift 2 was down. However, they did an excellent job grooming Otter Slide, The Main, Upper Fox Hole, and Bunny which all had great snow.

Spring skiing at its finest today, except for the fact that it's February. Most trails were open and still had good cover, but any trail that even had small bare patches was closed. They could easily still be 100% open if they wanted to be. It wasn't very busy and there was usually no wait for both T-bars.

March 1

About 3 inches of new snow fell making for great conditions all around. All of the night skiing terrain was open and both T-bars were running. There was very minimal crowding and the lines were shorter than normal for a weekday evening.

Will make a concerted effort to get eclairs for Jaytrem and I. Do both of us have to be eating?

Can someone remember who rode that t at Saddleback w the eclairs?

First T-bar in 24 years?! How did you manage to avoid them on your trip east? Did you at least ride the platter at Black, NH? That sort of counts as that lift used to be a T-bar.

Nope wasn’t running Friday 1/4/19 but Saturday after we ski Attitash and Wildcat we stopped in for a beer at lostbo and it was

There was great skiing on groomed terrain today, while anything ungroomed was a bit bumpy and firm. They only had three runs open (Bunny, The Main, and Otter Slide), even though they likely could have been close to 100% open if they wanted. The new management this year has been way more conservative about trail openings.

No, he is now working at Franklin Savings Bank. I believe it's a couple managing it now. There have been a number of changes made this year that many of the regulars haven't been thrilled about.

Pretty sure it was the Cupsuptic T-Bar, not the Kennebago near Muleskinner.
