There were excellent conditions today at Baker Mountain! All trails had packed powder and powder, with barely an ice patch to be seen. All of the trails were open, and everything was groomed, except for the left and upper parts of Bodybag and the upper part of Bucksaw. Snow cover was pretty good, although there were some thin spots here and there. Temperatures were in the teens and it was mostly cloudy, with some snow in the afternoon. They were having some issues with the sensors on the T-bar, so it stopped a few times during the day, and they ended up closing about 45 minutes early. It was the busiest that I've seen the mountain, and there was sometimes a wait of a few T-bars to get on. Hopefully they'll get some more snow this week to cover up the thin spots and make conditions even better for next weekend!
