A couple inches of wet new snow and the warm temperatures made for some very slow spring skiing at Lost Valley today. All of the snowmaking trails were open, and there were a few thin and bare patches here and there, but cover was generally still good. The new snow was extremely sticky, especially before it got tracked out. Temperatures were in the upper 30s and 40s which kept the snow soft and slushy throughout the day. The mountain wasn't busy at all, and there was almost never any wait to get on either chair. Next weekend is closing weekend for Lost Valley, and they should still have a fair bit of terrain open by then.
