The caution poles were for some real bad patches of ice between a few moguls at the top of the run.<blockquote class=“Quote” rel=“ciscokid”><blockquote class=“Quote” rel=“ADKskier”>pictures are blowing upside down?? Anyone else? Great TR!

Yea I guess I’m not the only one who sends them from Down under once in a while.

Glad you beat the blowtorch Yea Ted I drove real close by on I-86 last July, pretty area. There’s nothing in the lower peninsula of Mi with 750′ vert but until you have tried both Boynes and Nubs don’t give up on Mi skiing.( and there’s always the UP)

Curious, just drive to HV to ski or family or friends in area.The main reason was to ski. My best friend growing up does live 35 miles away so I did get to see him. Holiday Valley skis much bigger than 750′. The layout is so spread out and its over 4 ridges and when you start to connect different runs together you can get mile to mile and half runs. A buddy of mine who went with me has skied both of the Boynes and Nubs and said they don’t come close to comparing to Holiday valley. I think Holiday Valley is missing out on the lower Mi market. The only ski area he thinks is better in Mi is Mt Bohemia. I am not giving up on skiing in Mi, going to Holiday valley will be our big ski trip for the year. </blockquote>
