I don’t think so.  The Holts Double is from the late 70s. - and clue 2 doesn’t seem to fit.

Pretty sure Sunday River fits the 3 clues.

Sunday River had its first chair on Agony in 1971-72; I rode it many times when it was their only chair. Agony was not an open trail in those days.Given that it’s NewEnglandSkier13 asking, we should be thinking someplace small.

Right, but that chair is no longer there. My impression of the clue is that none of the existing chairs are from before 1980

Thanks NJSki, you saved me from wasting my lunch hour looking through long lists for a ski area that had only surface lifts in 1980.

It’s the lodge expansion that is getting me. The fact that the clue says main lodge, tells me that there is more than one lodge, so it is a larger ski area.How about Cannon Mtn?

Berkshire East  - anyway define rare. The Hermitage had two Skytracs but that’s all I see in NE.

The lift is rare because of what it was like when installed, not because of it is a combination of different manufacturers resulting in a normal looking lift, which happens often.
