Ski_it’s is already limited to New England and implied to be Maine (no confirmation received, my guess of Spruce Mt. vicinity said to be cold.). I still say mine is not that difficult.

OK.  So the next “cluster” of substantial areas by this definition is in Southern VT.  Snow Valley, Hogback, Prospect Mt., Timber Ridge, Dutch Hill; There was also a place between Whitehall, NY and Rutland.  (can’t think of its name); and Magic has been in a nominal limbo between the living and the dead for the last 10 years or so.

Is this the cluster you had in mind?

I think Cortina is outside my 20-mile radius; the others are No-Name Mountain, Bobcat, and Scotch Valley. I wasn’t counting Bearpen because it had only rope tows.You get to do the next quiz.
