What are all of your opinions about Peak Resorts pulling Crotched, Attitash, and Wildcat from Ski NH?

Personally I’ve found it very annoying.

It’s a lot harder to get deals now. We purchase many tickets through Ski NH and similar organizations and now it isn’t possible to do so for such places.

aaahh … yes, the Ski NH ticket deals are quite popular.

The Ski NH decision Peak made was all about the “bang for the buck” they felt they were (or weren’t getting)

Look for some changes in Peak’s marketing across all of their Eastern properties this season as they made some significant moves in their marketing wing over the summer and created basically a company wide, in addition to specific resort, focused marketing marketing department with some solid talent there…..

I hope to see a change soon, because I’ve been mostly staying away from Crotched, Attitash, and Wildcat recently (I went to Crotched once this season) due to the high ticket prices and lack of deals even though I used to visit Wildcat more regularly.

I know Crotched offers a lot of ticket deals midweek and certain midnight madness promotions…   Also, Vertical Value card is a very good deal which entitles you to ticket discounts all season at all 3 mountains.

I think the problem (from a resort perspective) with the Ski NH tickets is that the resort doesn’t receive any revenue from those sales… it all goes to Ski NH.

I have typically found great Liftopia deals on all 3 NH resorts any time I have looked.  Maybe it has to do with the winter we had, but it seems Crotched is getting more and more of a buzz.  People I know are often thinking Crotched instead of Wachusett now.

Wachusett kindly refers skiers to Crotched when they max out their capacity.  Most of these folks I’ve spoken with say they make up for the extra 30-45 minutes of driving in their first hour of skiing with our (far) shorter lift lines.
