I wish. No - I have no authority to decide to open a trail. If the hill lead needs someone to open a trail, I can be assigned the job.

Very nice conditions yesterday. Nice lsgr with the new snow mixed in allowed for great edge hold. Had lots of fun carving the place up and got 22 runs in. Even took 5 glade runs in the Final Frontier glades there surprising good and with any more new snow they’ll be perfect. On the other hand Darkstar was appalling. It’s almost impassible from all the downed trees, branches and new growth. I had to bailout 2/3 of the way down. After 10 years of volunteer work that cost the ski area absolutely nothing to add these glades they couldn’t see fit to maintain them. I hope Peaks resorts can find the will to keep these glades maintained during the off season especially when they note them on the trail map. I am a very disappointed volunteer!!!
