The arch tower on the old Standard lift at Mount Snow? It was used to get the lift over one of the old chain drive lifts.

To get to K1 from The Superstar Quad at Killington requires walking uphill from the bottom of Bittersweet. The only options that really get you directly to K1 without walking/climbing are Anarchy and Ovation.

No thats not what I am looking for, let me clarify. In order to leave the pod to get to ANY OTHER lift, you have to either ski a black or do a little bit of hiking.

Sunapee Sunbowl? Not sure which one of Upper Ridge (blue) or Upper Blastoff (black) is the one off the actual summit. They split pretty quickly.

Its Ridge and there are also 2 other blues to get you down from Sunapee.

This is a real stumper question.

The Wasp Chair and trail at Bradford actually fit this criteria. To get to another lift, you either have to ski down a black or traverse across the base area to another lift.

True, but it's the closest thing that I've come up with so far.

First clue is that some trails in this pod have had their ratings changed from blue to black, so this question only applies to the last few years

Great question. I don't pay much attention to trail ratings so that hint doesn't do much for me. I guess I'll have to surrender my ISNE credentials..again.. because i'm stumped too. I can't think of many isolated pods, that this suggests, in New England. And can't think of one you can't ski out either the top or bottom on a blue/green. Loon's west side sorta, Mittersill sorta. Mt Snow Northface? -NOT!, Castlerock?-you can ski out the bottom so no.

You can skate this instead of hike as it is not long at all. But it is definitey uphill to escape the pod without skiing a black as the pod is currently laid out
