I'll try one. Excluding the Mittersill double and the Loon Riverside connector, what were the last two brand new double chairs installed in New England? Must be new, not rebuild, and must serve ski terrain, not a connector/amusement park etc. One should be easy, the second one, not so

So Castlerock was the most recent, but who was the one before it?

Castlerock was installed with a used Yan gearbox I think, so it was not 100% new but call it 95% new.

If Castlerock counts then I am going to guess Jordan Mountain Double as the second as it has reused hall chairs but I think everything else was installed new.

Correct guess with the Jay Village Chair.

I was not aware of the gearbox being refurbished on the Castlerock Chair. I was using NewEnglandSkiHistory.com as my database, and no mention there.

I believe that it came from Killington, however I do not know why it was used.

All these recent double chairs seem to have some used parts on them. Jay Village clearly has used Hall chairs and towers, the terminals are Borvig. I use skilifts.org lift installation surveys for reference which Jay Village does not show up on, but there are lots of lifts missed on those surveys. So lots of possible correct answers to this question it seems. Sad there aren't that many new doubles installed these days.

How about Hickory and Miller in Quebec.

Bearpen (I think was well over 1,000 vertical but may be wrong) in the Catskills and Bobcat in Andes, NY. RIP Bobcat.😔😔😔

Miller: never heard of
Bearpen: I don't think 1000 vertical were actually served by lifts (Same is true of Marble Mtn. (a.k.a. Original Whiteface)
Catskill Ski Center (a.k.a. Bobcat): Yes

Also:
Adirondack Ski Center (a.k.a. Alpine Meadows) is the one I know that no one got.
Mount Washington cog served about 1500' vertical in the few season that it operated

So next question goes to either jaytrem or IBRAKE...
