NewEnglandSkier13 Gunstock seems to have weathered the warm up pretty well. More than half of their terrain is open with good cover on all open trails. All lifts spun today and the temperature stayed around 30, but wind and cloud made it feel colder. Their new RFID system works about as well as could be expected, but I don't think I will ever be a fan. After the recent discussion about Shawnee Peak, I did notice that they had cameras set up at every RFID gate, but the only info they asked me for was my name and birthdate. The usual system of a lift ticket on your jacket with a ticket checker at each lift seems so simple and inexpensive, I guess resorts just wanted more data. Anyways, I was glad to see that warm up hadn't done as much damage up north as I had feared, and now we have a few good storms to look forward to.
NewEnglandSkier13 lotsoskiing;c-39644 wroteNIce. Not knowing the area, any chance you can ID the pics? All of the HSQ pics are of the Panorama lift. The photo of the quad above a race trail is the Ramrod Quad. The triple after that is the Pistol Triple and then the Tiger Triple. There are also various photos from trails around the mountain. Many are looking at Lake Winnipesaukee.
ciscokid I don't think their night skiing sessions can't be beat ANYWHERE, $44 for tickets including rentals and a beginner lesson. I'd go back to Gunstock anytime I'm ever in NH just for the view of the lake
