This is what the Epic pass site says under buddy/swaf for 20/21:
New for the 2020/21 season, redeem your Buddy and Ski-with-a-Friend-Tickets online, share with family and friends, skip the lines and enjoy more time on the mountain. Please note that the pass holder must be present at pickup. Once you have purchased your pass, log into your Account to view available tickets.
*Not all pass products come with Buddy or Ski-With-A-Friend Tickets.
*Not valid at Perisher, Falls Creek or Hotham in Australia, Mount Snow, Hunter Mountain, Attitash Mountain Resort, Wildcat Mountain, Crotched Mountain, Liberty Mountain Resort, Roundtop Mountain Resort, Whitetail Resort, Jack Frost, Big Boulder, Alpine Valley, Boston Mills, Brandywine, Mad River Mountain, Hidden Valley, Snow Creek, Paoli Peaks or partner resorts. The Epic Australia Pass does not receive SWAF/Buddy Tickets.
However, I did a chat with an Epic rep who checked with her manager and was told buddy tix will be valid at the former Peak resorts.
Hi there. How can I help you today?
at 14:48, Mar 4:
Do the buddy tickets for 2020/2021 work at Mt. Snow, VT?
Cassie
at 14:49, Mar 4:
Yes
at 14:50, Mar 4:
is that a change?
Cassie
at 14:50, Mar 4:
What do you mean
at 14:51, Mar 4:
In the fact sheet, it basically says buddy tickets are not applicable at former Peak Resorts
Cassie
at 14:51, Mar 4:
At this time. Next season they can be used at all resorts
at 14:52, Mar 4:
on the 20/21 sheet it says this: Not valid at Perisher, Falls Creek or Hotham in Australia, Mount Snow, Hunter Mountain, Attitash Mountain Resort, Wildcat Mountain, Crotched Mountain, Liberty Mountain Resort, Roundtop Mountain Resort, Whitetail Resort, Jack Frost, Big Boulder, Alpine Valley, Boston Mills, Brandywine, Mad River Mountain, Hidden Valley, Snow Creek, Paoli Peaks or partner resorts. The Epic Australia Pass does not receive SWAF/Buddy Tickets.

This was under the Epic Local pass for 20/21
Cassie
at 14:54, Mar 4:
As far as I know they will be eligilble for next season
at 14:56, Mar 4:
Well, that is not what the epic pass site says. I ask, because the Mt. Snow snow report touted the buddy tickets - but it is pretty clear on the website that Mt. Snow is excluded from the buddy ticket benefit. Is there any way I can get a definitive answer?
Cassie
at 14:58, Mar 4:
I have asked my manager and the leads. As far as we know they will work at the resorts next season
at 14:59, Mar 4:
OK, so you may want to update the website - because it is mis leading. Thank you.

Yardsale, I hope you're right about the buddy passes. I may want to print this out for future reference (ammunition)?
Thanks,
Woody
PS. I will buy Snowshoe WV's Ridiculous Pass (unlimited use at SS only, $279).
Yesterday I bought an Epic product for the first time: Northeast Geezer's Midweek Pass $339 - nice deal for me, in contrast to Peak's offerings last year.
