Pulling in to find a spot in the base lodge parking will still be possible on race days. The race teams arrive at 7 - 8 am, get early loading, race and leave early afternoon. Lots of parking for a short while, but a fairly well worn race trail. ;)
The snow is about gone on the hill, enough for a snowball fight in a few spots.
Most of the staff is long gone, the requisite number of chairs/grips have been removed from the lines and a late mud season with black flies is the most noticeable feature at the moment.
One change, not on the hill, the Francestown General Store has finally gotten it's permitting and construction done. They now have Breakfast thru Dinner available including hot food and beer. Good news for folks driving to the mountain this summer and for following seasons.
Whoever removed Joshua's shovel from the glade, please return it.
If you find an ice chopper on the hill on/near Pluto's it belongs to ski patrol.
