Dredging the lake to a depth of 15-20 ft. should be deep enough to keep the water cooler near the bottom and then release it at that depth. As for the algae bloom & goose poop, if they reintroduced the fountain it should keep the water moving enough to cut down on both issues along with maybe offering paddleboats & allowing canoes & kayaks on there in the warmer weather.

If you want a corporate position in Broomfield you'll need to do better.

1. Fill in lake, build alpine-village style shopping mall
2. Convert all local lots to VIP parking
3. Build non-VIP lots in Brattleboro and bus 'em in.

Ok seriously, don’t dams hinder fish, etc from moving up & downstream. Surprised TU didn’t mention something along those lines.

Yes but your so far upstream, with very little further up, that this pales in comparison to the water temp issue which affects a very large area downstream where fish populations are much higher.
