1/12/2021 - The Mt skied better today - low traffic on Monday combined with a groom and a dusting for Tuesday morning.
I was solo all day today so approached things a bit differently.. taking out some frustration caused by a non ski related issue... I went non-stop from 9am until 2:15pm. Today was a story of failure, followed by redemption . 1st, the fails:

Now the redemption... around 12:15 I was riding up Challenger and was considering calling it a day. As I put the bar up near the top, I looked to my left and noticed a skier using Skyline to get on to Committed. Huh? Easy enough, I decided to check it out. Indeed Committed was an open hard pack frozeroy. So as I neared the exit onto Cascade I slowed to take a peak at Ripcord. WHAT? Rope drop! can't be? It was. It will probably be sketchy. It wasn't. As I dug in my edges on the first steep turn after 2nd Thoughts, this huge amount of gun powder spayed into the air, the wind caught it and blew the gun powder across the front of my face almost toppling me over from the shear surprise. On each subsequent left hand turn, the same thing would happen all the way down to River Run. OK, I decided to lap it a total of 3 times as it just doesn't get much better.
Ripcord:
As a result of the adrenaline flow after this, I ended staying out an additional couple of hours and all was forgiven regarding the morning failures.
