Just checked the Sugarbush webcam. Heck, there are a lot of people coming down Spring Fling!

Conditions for opening at Ragged look great. They made a ton of snow per usual.

That lodge and “round” red building is exactly the way I remember Sugarbush the last time I was there on a college ski club trip 1979. Nice to see some places don’t change their architecture

The Wunder Bar is in that building. One of the best ski bars evah. Not a very Covid friendly bar though.

The Mushroom! It is now offices, though the Wunderbar is still the upstairs of Valley House Lodge, unless that changed in the last year.

Our boot room is under the Mushroom (hence the Cascade sled outside). The gondola station used to be to the right of the Mushroom but was removed when they put the new Valley House in a few years ago.

Next week, Mon 14th-Sat 19th, looks like a solid stretch of all snowmaking temps for much of New England/NY. This should greatly help with trail openings and openings of ski areas in general. Just need to get through the one mild stretch this weekend.

Saddleback's website says they're open, with the Rangeley and lower quad chairs and 6 trails. Frozen granular conditions, but that will change tomorrow.

Nashoba opens 18th or 19th. Rolling 2hr or 4hr tickets this year, no season passes.

Why will that change? I expect the snow around here will stay like this until the next storm.

Stopped by Blue Hills today to pick up my season pass. Lot of activity going on. Was a good amount or people picking up passes and equipment rentals. Looks like the snowguns will be going back on tonight.
