TomWhite It looks like I get the first, and probably only, Ohio entry. It is Hide-A-Way Hills. I grew-up in the Pittsburgh area and Columbus friends had a second home in southern Ohio. Not a well-known skiing destination. In the early 60’s HAH had a very long rope tow. I was 10-12 at the time. My guess is 500’. It was the same rope but it was in three sections. There were two flat spots where riders had to let go then regrip after passing a couple of pulleys. The pulleys kept some tension on the rope and gave riders relief from holding up the rope for a long distance.
