They no longer make new T-bars with telescoping Ts, but replacement Ts for existing T- bars with wooden cross pieces are still made as far as I know.
There are lots of existing telescoping Ts with wooden cross pieces in New England. Just listing the ones in Maine, there is one at Black, one at Abram, two at Titcomb, one at Baker, two at Jefferson, one at Quoggy Jo, and one at Lonesome Pine.
