Sunday River 2020-21 Ski Reports

Hey everyone, decided to give Snowjournal 2.0 another shot after a couple weeks of neglect. I don't really know if anyone has had the same experience I did with setting up a new account here on this site. It was really cumbersome, and kinda frustrating to get working. I'll probably set up a new thread for what happened if anyone is interested. It was really messed up.

Anyways, here are some photos from my day of skiing at Sunday River today. Beautiful bluebird day! Also really cold and windy too. The chondi was running half-speed the entire day because the wind was blowing the cabins around quite a bit, and Jordan was also running half-speed too. Enjoy!

1-14-2021- Hey everyone, here is a brief report from NewEnglandSkiConditions.com:

After taking a couple runs on the Little White Cap lift (#11), I proceeded to then make the awful decision to check out White Heat: now officially open to the public. Let's just say that on a ratio of 1 to 10, about 1 and 7 people were falling just trying to get over the whalebacks. I unfortunately I was not exempt from this category. My fall was just before the lift, I went over a whaleback, hit a slow spot, and did a faceplant into the oncoming whale. Hurt a lot. Was not fun. It also didn't help that there were people from the lift heckling the people falling too (Which, I did partake in lol).

Called it a day around 2:30, with a solid 23 runs in. Best day so far. Even though I fell.

Thanks for sharing! Great to see the photos of Sunday River. Haven't been there now in 21 years. Had some great family vacations there.
