NewEnglandSkier13 Lost Valley has become a good option for us so far this season. It's very affordable to ski mid-week and their good snowmaking system has kept a good amount of terrain open, even with minimal snow. Today they had an old snowcat and "powder maker" attachment on display in the base area. Since we had visited last week, they opened two more trails off of Chair 2, Beaver and Bear. Snowmaking had also taken place on Big Buck, Bobcat, Porcupine, Fischer, and Skunk. It was moderately busy, but there weren't any significant lift lines. As usual, they did an excellent job grooming and the snow surface was great. I also got some pictures of old trail maps hanging in the base lodge.
