I grew-up skiing SW PA till moving to NEng in '79. Hidden Valley had 4 pomas and a rope. Those were all fun. The steepness of Lower Wildcat at Laurel Mt. was so fearful, I never went down the novice trail to the base. At this upside down area, in those days the T-bar was the only way back up. I was too afraid to ride up the steep part of the T-bar. Unlike most areas, you can't see the bottom/start of the lift. The twin summit T-bars at Cannon was my first T-bar ride.
