Killington has enough trouble trying to keep Pico going. I don't think Round Top has any real chancer of success where it is located. Haystack is a better mountain and it has had no success in the shadow of Mt. Snow.

I suspect a new owner has a legal restriction to keep it private. It’s between the big boys, perhaps their niche could simply be “uncrowded”. I’ve driven up the road on looker’s right of the mt. and walked through the lodge. I’ve not skied there. The facilities are nice.

The only future that facility has it staying private regardless of legal stipulations. The previous owner spent considerable time and money putting that snowmaking pond in.

Interesting times for this. Sleepier terrain and older lifts than Haystack, though close to affluent second home owners in the Okemo/Killington area who might like the uncrowded aspect, as compared to the craziness of the big areas on weekends and holidays. Will be interesting to watch.
