I took advantage of $20 lift tickets today to get a little Christmas Eve skiing in at McIntrye. They had the West Chair and the trail skiers left of the lifts open, which they refer to as Trail 1. The snow surface was quite nice machine groomed snow and they also had a terrain park set up to skier's left. The chair started having issues around 12:15, so they ended up opening the East Chair and closed the West Chair for the rest of the day. They were making snow on the tubing park and two other trails.

Thanks for sharing! It's one of the last ski areas for me to check out in NH, though I've seen it in the summer. Gotta love the parallel Hall doubles!

I love the duel Halls! Although they probably have the ugliest lift shacks ever at the summit. They're concrete boxes.

Sam, thanks for the report. I just looked at their site, seniors 65+ are free any time. Do you happen to know, once they get plenty of snow, do they let anything mogul up?

I don't believe so. Possibly the area directly under the chair where they don't make snow or groom, but I'm not sure if they even let you ski there anymore.
