Snow guns are blowing on the North Ridge

This I don't understand, given the predicted warmup, unless still as training/testing, which then makes sense.

Will be ling gone by Sunday, but still nice to see.

They have a few more nights between now and the warm up. Given their snow making horsepower, they could possibly get enough down to open on Friday.

A shout out and kudos to Killington:

A friend of mine had purchased a season's pass last spring. A couple of weeks ago, he had a stroke. He called Killington and asked if, under the circumstances, they would refund his ticket and if he needed a note from his doctor.

They took him at his word and issued an immediate refund.

Passholder Tuesday PM general public Wednesday is the word on the street.

As of now (10:30 AM, Tuesday, 11/16/22), there is no official word as to when K will open.

The guns are now turned off on the North Ridge and the chair is moving for whatever that is worth. Superstar is still making snow.

Hooray! The longest season in the East starts this Thursday, November 17 at 12:00 p.m.! As usual, we’ll kick things off with our passholder appreciation day on Thursday and then on Friday, November 18, at 9:00 a.m., we will open to the general public. Grab your Season Pass now to join us for the official Day One on Thursday, November 17, and your chance to grab a coveted Day One beanie, reserved for Killington Season Passholders and Ikon Passholders, while supplies last. 

Killington’s star snowmaking team has spent the last couple days blanketing the North Ridge in a coat of white, and thanks to their hard work we'll be skiing and snowboarding on Rime and Reason. The K-1 Express Gondola will spin from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Friday, and we’ll use the Peak Walkway to get to and from the North Ridge Area for skiing and snowboarding – yes walking is required. The final ride up K-1 will be at 3:00 p.m. and North Ridge Quad will turn until 3:45 p.m. As always, early season terrain is suitable for intermediate and advanced skiers and riders only and no easier terrain is available at this time.  Our stellar Woodward Mountain Park crew will have a few features set up for Day One jibbing on Reason and will continue to build out that park as early season rolls on.

Although the K-1 Base Lodge is not open to the public yet, food will be available at the Peak Lodge and Subie Shack in North Ridge. Plan on booting up at your car. Should you require rentals, you will need to book in advance online and can then pick them up at the Ramshead Lodge on your way up. Base area shuttles will be running regularly.

Lift tickets must be purchased online, either in advance or on the day of, for dates November 18 and later. You can use the Pick Up Kiosk located in Bay 2 of the K-1 parking lot near the ticket trailer to retrieve your one pass RFID card.  

We’re also excited to announce that this season, Killington is going cashless. We now accept Samsung, Google and Apple Pay, as well as all major credit cards. This change is going into effect as of opening day.
