skizilla I am thinking of buying the Nordica HF 120 boots. Th new rear entry. They are expensive so I have pause. does anyone have any experience with them I am an intermediate experts skier. definitely getting old with you arthritis making things hard so I like them from that perspective but are they goodenough performance wise.
Quietman I Looked at the ones that you reference on Level 9 last year, but found that the new Solomon boots were much easier to put on than my Solomon boots from 20 years ago. I ended up with the SPRO 100 (probably could have gone with the 120), but am extremely happy with the comfort and fit. I am also interested to hear any firsthand reviews on the Nordicas. I still have a 30 year old pair of cheap rear entry boots(very light weight) that I use for early and late season hike up and ski downs, but the performance is definitely not up to par.
rickbolger there are a few reviews on REI from "older" skiers singing praises for these here's a link, reviews are at bottom of page
