I headed over to Spruce for a few hours of spring-like skiing today. They had the Bunny and Barn Tows open with all trails open from both tows. The Bunny and Barn Slopes had good cover, although Barn was getting thin in places. The trails without snowmaking had very thin cover, and likely won't last much longer.
It was moderately busy, although it never felt crowded on the slopes or in the lodge. While everything seems to be getting more expensive these days, I was glad to see that their food prices hadn't gone up much, including their famous $1 grilled cheese. I got a grilled cheese, hot dog, and cheeseburger for lunch, which came to a total of $8, less than just a burger would cost at many places. This combined with a $20 half day ticket, made for a very affordable day of skiing.
