We took the day off of work to take advantage of Big Squaw's $25 Thursday deal. Big Squaw seems to consistently have the most and highest quality snow in the region, and that remained true today. The mountain was 100% open with outstanding packed powder conditions on groomed trails, and about 3 inches of new snow on ungroomed trails. The snow was the kind that leaves you with a big grin on your face after carving down a perfectly groomed trail.
Temperatures were in the 20s for most of the day, but the wind made it feel significantly colder. The mountain was not busy at all, even when the school programs started showing up in the afternoon. Big Squaw is always a very fun place to ski, and today was no exception!
