Titcomb Mountain 2024-2025 Season

Today was a great opening day at Titcomb! T-Bar 2 and the Pony were spinning, providing access to Bunny and Young's Way. They did a great job grooming, and there were excellent loose granular conditions across all open terrain. Early season lift tickets are $15 and they were offering a pancake breakfast for the first few hours of the day. It was moderately busy, and everyone seemed happy to be back out on the slopes!

The T-bar developed an electrical issue around 11:15, and everyone either took a lunch break and/or took some laps on the Pony. After lunch, we did a little cross country skiing on the Airport, before calling it for the day. They have been making a lot of snow, and it looks like it won't be long until Upper Fox and The Main are open!

Friday, February 7

Tonight was a free ski night at Titcomb, thanks to Franklin Savings Bank. Multiple storms over the last few days made for excellent conditions across the mountain, which was 100% open. Groomed trails had perfect packed powder, while ungroomed terrain had 4-5"+ of light powder. Glades were skiable, but the base is still quite thin and there were lots of obstacles to be cautious of. All lifts were open, and T-Bar 2 had lines that averaged around 5 minutes throughout the evening, while T-Bar 1 usually had no wait at all. There was still plenty of untracked powder to be found by the time the unlit terrain closed around 4:45. It was a good evening to be out, and it is great to have so many free skiing options in the region throughout the season!

Thursday, March 13

This evening was Titcomb's last free ski of the season, as Sunday will be the last day. Lift 1 was open, serving all trails on the west side of the mountain, except for Little Jumper. It was a warm evening, with temperatures in the mid-30s and groomed terrain was a nice loose granular, while ungroomed terrain was pretty solid. Coverage is still quite good, even on natural trails, with minimal bare spots. Coverage is even better than at some larger neighbors, such as Black Mountain.
