Move over XC skis, Move >200cm skis from the 90s, cause Burton is in with an absolute monster lol. I know most of y'all are skiers but I thought you'd get a kick out of Zeb Powell's Super Ultra Blossom:

I honestly could not fathom trying to fly through the air and spin with that thing. Anyone know when the last time >200cm skis were a thing?

If you haven't seen this year's Warren Miller Zeb has a feature where he is in Hokkaido at Chisenupuri Snowcats. I happen to have a day booked there for me and the lady in a couple weeks.

If y'all don't know Zeb you should look him up. He's an east coast snowboard who does some insane stuff. He also rides in the northeast a lot which is cool cause I feel a lot of athletes make it to his level and move on. You will see videos of him riding at Mt. Snow, Killington, and I think Hunter.

So you don’t remember that blue pair of 203 Elan Giant slalom that were down in the basement for years??? I did use them but not too much. Great for high speed and on flat ice but terrible in the 80s ice mogul years. Donated to your troop to turn into a camp sled. Switched to much shorter and softer K2 slalom types.
Also in the 80s when I skied in the alps in mid June the rental guy insisted I take like 210s or longer. He wasn’t wrong as it was a hard Sno-cone consistency surface.?
