Reviving the Legend - Hickory Ski Center Documentary

Last night I had the chance to attend the premiere, at the Strand Theater in Hudson Falls, NY of Reviving the Legend - a ski documentary all about saving Hickory Ski Center. Created by filmmaker Ian McGrew, the documentary tells the story of what went into reopening Hickory and all the aspects of what makes that mountain so special. It was terrific and you'll all want to see it when it comes out on a streaming platform. Almost 200 people attended!

It hasn't yet. We need lots of snow. Models are all over the place but there is the chance for a more active pattern coming up.

I do plan on skiing there as soon as it opens, as it's on the Indy and just 30 min away.

Man, I hope they can start up again! One of the most fun days of skiing in 50 years was there with my kids maybe 10 years ago? Incredible snow and terrain, and super friendly vibe. Wish I had bought one of the logo pint glasses they had for sale in the lodge...will be back if they fire up again

I didn't realize they got added to the Indy. If they can get open, that will surely drive a lot of new business their way. I'd consider making the drive from NH to ski a fully opened Hickory.
