Cannon's Tram to Close Before Replacement Ready

No one in the state government- past or present - has taken a public stance in favor of the tram replacement project. It’s too expensive…I don’t see that changing.
The minutes of the Cannon Mountain Advisory Commission are available on the NH State Park website and provide much of the history.
It’s the standard stuff- Costs too much, other things are more important etc etc

You better get used to hearing it…because a lot of overdue accountability is coming. We all believe in accountability, right?

Am I reading this correctly???? Did someone of Tedede’s apparent political sympathies say something even slightly positive about Medicare For All? Nah….methinks his account has been hacked by…uh, Antifa - right! :

Let’s not forget that Vail Resorts was created by private equity vampire Apollo Global Management, founded and led for decades by billionaire Leon Black. And yes, that’s the same accused pedophile Leon Black, who was the BFF of Jeffrey Epstein, who paid Epstein approximately $170 million for “tax and estate planning advice.” (Right.) While Apollo has long since cashed out of Vail (because that’s what PE companies do), Apollo’s DNA is still all over the place. And we’ve seen where that’s taken the skiing industry.

SJ is a skiing forum. There are plenty of political forums. I probably should have flagged powerstud’s posting which led to tedede’s predictable response.

To say that the legislature has not approved the project because it is too expensive is true and appropriate for this forum. The political direction that this thread has taken is not. Please refrain from the partisan stuff. The government we have is the one the NH voters gave us. Like it or not, we own it.
