Went up to Crotched this AM for a sunrise tour - most of the mountain was groomed over. Conditions were relatively soft - no ice patches felt anywhere. A bit thin straight down the center of the mountain, though covered enough that I didn’t see any grass sticking up.
I’d imagine it’ll probably ski well today with the high temps, but will turn bulletproof pretty quickly once things cool down in the afternoon. I’m not sure how liberal Crotched is with opening/closing trails, but with the high temps there could be one or two trails at risk of closure due to thin cover over the next day or two if they’re more conservative.
