They were low-angle/low-intermediate, but they seemed narrower and twistier than normal, at least on skier’s right of the summit lift.

I loved that old triple because of the weird cantilevered tower coming out of the cliff.  I’ve been struggling to find a pic of that. Anyone have one?

I love seeing panoramic shots like that. It’s so fun identifying other resorts off in the distance. When at Killington back in 1986 our first day of skiing was the perfect bluebird day. Stratton, Magic, and Ascutney were clearly visible. If I recall I could see Mt Washington way off in the distance. I really wanted to spot Sugarbush but couldn’t find it.

I’ll venture that the Sugarbush trails would be very hard to spot. Most of the ones on Mt. Lincoln & Mt Ellen are north of their ridges and out of view. If you look at the Kpeak 360 cam at the right of Pico, Sugarbush is 36 miles back, almost above or slightly to the right of what appears to be the 2nd loop of the trail coming down from Pico. That 2nd loop heading towards us is actually on Killington’s Ramshead.   http://killington.roundshot.com/peaklodge/  Slightly left to right & south to north Mt Abraham 4017, Lincoln 3975 & Mt Ellen 4083 are all together and at that distance probably look like the same mountain. I think I can just barely make it out way back there on the cam right now, I think they are the whiter ones.

Wow!! Now this is a view I haven’t seen since 1987!! Once the snow is properly covering the peaks and trails I’m hoping to spy some of the NH resorts.

Quick question: is that Magic I see just beyond Roundtop and, sorta in between Roundtop and Stratton, is that a part of Okemo that I see? I think there’s a trail that wraps along the side called the Toll House Road and is that a part of what I see on the cam?

Ibrake, I think you’re seeing Magic and Okemo, but Magic is to the right of Okemo and further away. (In case anyone is wondering how Ibrake saw any of those, there’s a zoom button.) Okemo shows as two peaks with trails visible on the left peak.

Idk about the trail name but the areas sound right to me. It’d be nice if they labelled their competition, huh?

From Left to Right - Bear at Killington, then Ascutney, then with trails kind of facing to the left Roundtop/Bear/Plymouth Notch & Okemo, then Magic & Stratton facing us. Bromley would be next and is a little closer than Stratton, but most trails face away from us.

Magic & Stratton keep disappearing on me.
